Aristolochia bracteolata is an extremely widespread herb and weed in Africa ans S Asia yet quite uncommon in cultivation.

One reason for this may be its heat requirements - if temperatures fall under 15 °C for too long, the plants will suffer and eventually die.

Apart from this an absolutely lovely diminutive species with undulated, bluish-green foliage.
