Another showy and probably self-pollinating species from the fontanesii-clade, Aristolochia parvifolia surely belongs to the smallest species of this genus (at least above soil level..)

Often the species epithet is erroneously referred as "parviflora", however, the flowers are extraordinarily large compared to the diminuitive leaves and can even outsize the complete shoot length in sunny spots!
